31- Wedding Bells

Dan and I were married in my parent’s small backyard, with about 30 friends and family attending. We had known each other ten months.  It was a match made in heaven, and we both knew it.

My Mom invited the pastor who had started the church on the beach to preside at our wedding. He initially told her that he didn’t do home weddings and rarely married people who were not in his church. Our God story is that he changed his mind and officiated at our wedding. He was a great guy, and we attended his church anytime we were in town.
